Garden City- Max J. Crosley, 85, died on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at High Plains Retirement Village Assisted Living in Lakin. He was born on June 14, 1934 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Ralph J. & Abigail Alice (Hull) Crosley.
Max attended college for 1 year at Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma and 2 years at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He moved around a lot in his job living in Houston, Texas, Cut Bank, Montana, Williston, North Dakota, Round Up, Montana, as a Production Foreman and then Billings, Montana, Choteau, Montana, Hugoton, Kansas, St Elmo, Illinois and back to Hugoton while working as a Production Superintendent and Operations Supervisor for Mobil Oil Company for 34 years.
He is survived by his Son- Kirby J. Crosley and Nephews- Fred Wagner and Bud Neff. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife- Mary K. Crosley and Sister- Rita G. Marshall.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma. Friends may call from Noon to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
