Obituary for Barbara J. Jasper
Dighton- Barbara J. Jasper, 59, died on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her home in Dighton. She was born on October 1, 1960 at Garden City the daughter of Larry V. & Virginia L. (Heath) Jasper.
Barbara was a 1978 graduate of Dighton High School. She attended several colleges before moving back to Dighton in 1982 and started working at the First National Bank. She was at the bank for 38 years and currently was the Assistant Cashier. She was a member of St Theresa Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society and Octoberfest Committee. She enjoyed reading, watching Dighton Hornet activities and attending concerts. She bowled bowled in the senior nationals twice, placing both years. She was preceded in death by her Father.
She is survived by her Mother- Virginia Jasper of Dighton, 2 Brothers- David Jasper of Everest and Frank Jasper of Dighton, 2 Sisters- Brenda Jasper of Park City and Mary Cay Avis of Meade and 3 Nephews- Austin Jasper of Topeka, Skyler Avis of Haysville and Ross Jasper of Garden City.
Vigil Service will be at 7:00 PM Sunday and Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM Monday both at St Theresa Catholic Church in Dighton with Rev Warren Stecklein as Celebrant.
