Jose Jesus Oceguera Fuentes,66, died Saturday May 16, 2020 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born November 22, 1953 in Santa Ana, Guanajuato, Mexico the son of J. Jesus Oceguera and Maria Fuentes.
Mr Oceguera Fuentes came to Santa Ana, California in 1988 and later moved to Garden City with his family inn 1995. His family describes him as a hard worker and genuine husband, father and grandfather. He was a avid “Chivas” soccer fan. Fiercely loyal, he would stick by his favorite team , even when they would loose. He was generous, always ready to offer food, love, his time and a spirited conversation.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Sister-Ana Oceguera.
He is survived by his Wife-Blanca Oceguera; Children-Maria Cristina Oceguera, Luis Alberto Oceguera; 8 Grandchildren-Carlos Zaragoza, Brian Zaragoza, Jasmine Perez, Blanca Perez, Benjamin Perez, Brianna Perez, Julie Oceguera, Luis “Betito” Oceguera & Siblings; Martha A Oceguera, Arturo Oceguera, Francisco Oceguera, Eva Oceguera, Josefina Oceguera, and Dolores Oceguera.
A private family Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Jacob Schneider as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will take place Monday May 18, 2020 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N 7th Street, Garden City, KS 620-276-3219
