Obituary for Judith Gail Douglas
Judith Gail Douglas, 64, died Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born March 26, 1956 in Anthony, Kansas the daughter of Howard R. & Juanita P. (Florentine) Beason.
As a teenager, Judith moved to Garden City with her family. She has lived in Garden City since. A homemaker, she also worked as a cook in Garden City. Judith enjoyed her time cooking, gardening, going to garage sales, and taking care of her family.
On November 20, 1981, she married William L. Douglas, Jr. in Farmington, New Mexico. He survives. Other survivors include two children Shannon Huddleston of Blanco, Texas and Shane Douglas of Garden City, Kansas; her father Howard R. Beason of Joplin, Missouri; three sisters Ginger Molina of Garden City, Kansas, Mauritta Adams of Colorado, and Frankie Anton of Garden City, Kansas; and two grandsons Kailen Webster and Kaileb Webster. Judith is preceded in death by her mother and a step-brother Randy Beason.
A private family service will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorials given to the Judith Douglas Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
