Obituary for Donna Rojas
Donna Rojas died July 16, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Garden City Kansas. She was surrounded by her loved ones and finally found peace and rest at the end of the day. She was born May 5, 1962 in Denver Colorado the daughter of Theresa Montoya.
Donna was raised in Monte Vista, Colorado and moved to Garden City in 2006. It was in the late 2000’s she met and married Max Rojas. She cared for him through his time of need until he passed. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2020. She worked as a laundry attendant with Highlander Laundromat. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, listening to music and dancing, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and working on her yard. She loved going to the Casino and buying lottery tickets in the hopes of winning big. She will be remembered for being a very independent and loving person.
She was survived by her Children-Maureena & Anselmo Enriquez, Guizel Urbina & Melissa Arroyo, & Alma Hernandez; Grandchildren-Haily Enriquez, Leydaly Enriquez, Annaly Enriquez, Italy Enriquez, Yanely Enriquez, Emiliano Urbina, Donnailee Hernandez, Analiza Cruz, Bella Cruz, & Angel Acevedo.
In addition to her husband , she was preceded in death by her Mother-Theresa Montoya & Sister-Anna Montoya
Visitation will be held 10:00 am-5:00 pm Thursday July 21, 2022 at Garnand Funeral Home. A Rosary will follow at 7:30 pm at St Mary Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be 12:00 pm Friday July 22, 2022 at St Mary Catholic Church with Father Jacob Schneider as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
