Condolences

Condolence From: Janet Harrington
Condolence: Sheriff Garrison was a great person and a sheriff that I enjoyed serving with when I was sheriff. He attended the Kansas Sheriffs' Association meetings and conferences and I always enjoyed my visits with him when we were together. He will be truly missed by his family and his community.

Condolence: What a great man Jim was. He was more than my boss for over 16 years, he was like a father to everyone who worked for him. He instilled more wisdom in me than anyone else I know. He will be sorely missed in the community and the Law Enforcement Community. To the family of Jim, I'm very sorry for your loss and I grieve with you! It's your end of watch, my friend...rest in peace!

Condolence From: Sheriff Mike Keating, ret.
Condolence: To Rusty and Mitzi and all of the Garrison family:

I am with you in my heart as you grieve for this wonderful, wonderful man. Your father was more than a long time Sheriff. He was everybody's friend. He had an artistic knack of being able to find the perfect balance of performing his job and caring for all people, regardless of their life circumstances. He was a role model for me and I did my best to pay attention. I loved him very much and there is a hole in my life in the place he occupied. My prayer is that he entered Heaven a full half hour before the devil knew he had died. I'm sure that prayer was granted.
