Condolence: Dear family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am the niece of Aunt Viola's first husband Eldon Shipley.
Although I was a very little child at the time, I do remember Aunt Viola and Uncle Eldon. He was home on furlough before being shipped to France where he lost his life defending our country. It must have been right after they married. We were at the home of my grandparents' Dewey and Iva Shipley. Uncle Eldon and Aunt Viola spent a lot of time playing with me, tossing me between the two of them or carrying me around. Those memories are very special to me.
I did get to see Aunt Viola in her home a couple times when I was in W.KS visiting family. We had such a nice visit. Even though I didn't get to know her very well as an adult, I've always loved her.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. I am sad that I didn't get to know Aunt Viola better, but glad that I did get to meet her and visit with her.
