Condolence: I was to sorry to hear about Al's passing. He was one of the first persons I met when I moved to Garden City as a new teacher at St. Mary. I remember standing on a field in July 1983 and Al telling me there would be an apartment on that spot in 6 weeks. Sure enough when I arrived on the 14th of August there were apartments. Al and family helped me transition to western Kansas. He was always there to help with advice, sell my car, and to fix things when they broke.
He was such a kind and wonderful person.
Mary Francis you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: We were saddened to hear of Al's passing. Whether it was at the lumber yard or out on a jobsite, I will always remember Al as just a happy go lucky guy who seemed like he was always of top of the world. He could make a person smile just by looking at him and wondering what he was about to say. He was truly an inspiration to all that knew him and will undoubtedly be missed by those of us who were touched by him. God bless.

Condolence: I felt much sadness when I learned of Albert's passing. One couldn't help but smile upon seeing him & prepare for a quip or two from him. His physical presence will be missed by many but our loss is heaven's gain & with the Angel's wings Al has acquired, he'll be near by.
