I light this candle to keep the memory of my beautiful Aunt Laverna burning steadily forever in the hearts of all of us who had the honor of knowing her and loving her. She was a remarkable woman who lived life joyously with a strong faith in Christ, a heart full of love, and her sweet smile she was well known for. I know she received a happy welcome in Heaven as she joined our loved ones who have gone on before her. Such a time of celebrating her homecoming! Aunt "Lavender" when it is my time to leave my earthly home I trust you will be standing with my precious Mama, Elinor Conover, to meet me at the Eastern Gate!! I am a Great Nephew of Laverna Hobbs, Sister in law to my maternal Grandmother, Elinor June Mumy Conover. I will miss your beautiful toothy smile and grin and the letters exchanged each year at Christmastime. You will live on in my memories of you forever. Congratulations on a life well lived and enjoy your days in the beyond with the same warmth, kindness, energy and love you shared with each us. Bless you my angel
