Marilyn and Ken Blake

You have all been in our thoughts and prayers. Lots of memories!! Time together as family - for fun, meals, encouragement, answers, help..... what a blessing!! Earl was an usher at our wedding, almost 49 years ago. Then he cared for our land. More importantly, he and Judy cared for our youngest son, John when we sent him back from Russia. They cared for him and helped him learn to drive and to work (although he did choose not to return to farming). Amazing love and care!! Although thousands of miles separated us - it was always great to get together and feel Earl's love and care. We last experienced that in person the summer of 2016. Today at an International Women's Tea with the theme "Bloom Wherever You are Planted", I (Marilyn) read the following Bible verses:"The Lord says, .....Rain and snow fall from the sky. They don't return without watering the ground. They cause the plants to sprout and grow. And the plants make seeds for the farmer. And from these seeds people have bread to eat. The words I say do the same thing. They will not return to me empty." Isaiah 55:10 (ICB) Those verses also brought thoughts and memories of Earl - who he was, how he lived, and what he believed. May you all know the comfort the Lord gives.
