My deepest condolences to you and your family. Both your mom and dad were wonderful people to have the opportunity to know. Opal always seemed to bring a moment of happiness in whatever kind of day you were having with her smile and warm greeting. God bless all of you.

In June 2017 Jeff and I rode our motorcycles to Garden City (G.C. or God's Country) where I had the pleasure of meeting a true western pioneer. As we visited, I realized Mrs. Sroufe had lived through the great depression, and the dust bowl. I found her life story very interesting. My condolences to all her friends and family.
